My father died..…and my brother and I, very sadly, decided we had to sell our family property in Anderson Valley. With me in the Netherlands and my brother in Albuquerque it was the only realistic option. A friend of ours recommended Sara Fowler, and we’re awfully glad she did! Although ours was an almost perfect piece of property (woods, flat, stream, etc) and we got an offer almost immediately, it was not an easy sale, with both my brother and me at a distance and some last minute problems with the buyer’s financing; but throughout Sara was right on top of things. Her shrewd initial appraisal meant that we got nearly twice for it what we (in our ignorance) would otherwise have asked; she was prompt, clear and comprehensive in explaining everything to us; her constant supervision prevented things from going off the rails; and a terrific burst of energy from her during the last week enabled it to be wrapped up safely. We owe her a lot, and would recommend her without reservation to anyone.

In the summer of 2002 we found ourselves in the position of realizing a long held dream to own property in Anderson Valley. We called a friend in the Valley, a retired Real Estate agent, and asked for his advice and a referral. He gave us Sara’s name and stated “Sara is the only one in the Valley I would do business with.” It turned out to be a great connection. Sara has all the attributes of a great person, a great agent. She listens, she is tenacious, she follows through and above all else is ethical. We were lucky enough to find a property we fell in love with very quickly because Sara did a great investigative job (the listing was not widely known about.) The transaction was a little tricky because the sellers were not prepared for the sale, and she followed through at every step to see that the sale reached a positive conclusion. The sellers were so impressed with Sara that they later asked her to be a selling Agent for them in another sale. We would recommend Sara to anyone, and she is the only Agent we would work with.
